A girl named Zab from Berkshire, England, became a hero when she saved her father’s life when she was just 2 years old.
31-year-old Ymman Demegillo experienced a sudden hypoglycemic attack due to low blood sugar, during which he became nearly unresponsive.
Little Zab, noticing that her father needed urgent medical attention, began shaking him and calling his name. She did her best to bring him back to his senses, hedding tears.
At one point, the little girl jumped out of bed, ran into the living room and snatched a glucose tablet from her father. He then made her chew the tablets and stayed by her side until the symptoms gradually subsided. The parents told the press that they had previously taught their two-year-old daughter how to deal with such situations.
“He’s only two years old, but he already knows how to help his dad when his blood sugar is low,” Zab’s proud mother, Jill, said after watching the video. “It’s heartbreaking and touching. Moments like these remind us that children are always watching, always learning, and sometimes they become our little heroes. Thank God for the gift of Zab.”
