Alexis loves her new jumpy seat, as most babies do. It’s a great way for little ones to build muscle and coordination in their legs, but Dakota the dog seems to want to help her friend learn one very important skill – how to jump withoutthe aid of a seat! Alexis’s mom says the real reason Dakota is jumping around with Alexis is because Dakota loves shadows, and loves pouncing on them, but I like to think of this video as a dog trying to show a little baby how she is supposed to jump, so someday they can play together!

I know, I know, it may be slightly wishful thinking on my part, but I really do think family dogs have strong bonds with babies – and a lot of them think it’s their duty to teach them!
