He posted a video showing how they spend the long winter nights – they don’t see the sun for about a month in winter.

He described the northern part of Sweden as a place where there is a lot of sun and at the same time a place where there is a lot of darkness. It all depends on what time of year we are in. In winter it is almost always dark, in summer it is light even at night.

At certain times of the summer, we may see the sun during the day, a phenomenon known as the midnight sun. On the other hand, during winter the sun is never visible in the sky and this phenomenon is known as solstice night.
