Losing your dog is every pet owner’s worst nightmare. Last week, the unthinkable happened when one family lost their dog Bella.

The dog had ran away from the dog sitter, while her owner Larry was in Florida. They spent days trying to search for the runaway pup. Family and friends helped put up flyers, called every shelter in the area, and activated an amber alert. The devastated owner didn’t even go to work for two days because he was looking for his beloved dog. He refused to give up until he found her.

“Loosing Bella was the worst nightmare, it felt like someone punched me in the stomach a million times,” the dog’s owner wrote in the YouTube caption.

Finally, they got the call they were waiting for. Bella had been found in Queens, NY — quite far from where he owner resides in Manhattan.

Bella and Larry are finally reunited after five days apart, and the heartwarming reunion was all captured on camera. The dog’s reaction is priceless.

It’s full of happiness, joy and tears! It’s difficult to tell who is happier about this reunion, but this is so sweet. Anyone who loves dogs needs to watch this amazing reunion.
