Police officers thankfully trusted their instincts when they were approached by a crazy quacking duck on the street. The duck would not quiet down after a few minutes, so the officers decided to investigate. I’m so happy they did!

What they found was that the duck was a mother and her ducklings were trapped beneath the sidewalk. The duck must have laid her eggs in the sewer drain and panicked once they hatched. This brave mother knew exactly what to do and luckily, so did the police officers who were there to help.
