Think your family pet knows a few impressive tricks? Think again!
I’m not saying we’re hard to impress here at LittleThings, but when it comes to animals doing pretty cool things, we’ve just about seen all that the internet has to offer. Just take this teeny, tiny “genius” for example. She’s just a pup and yet she understands a lot more than I would have ever expected.
While the old saying “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks” is definitely true for dogs like this one, but when you start them young, you can teach them a whole lot! In the following video, which comes from the 7th season of America’s Got Talent, we meet one family who has taken dog training to the next level.
Richard Olate grew up in a poor community in South America. To help his family make ends meet, he started performing circus-like acts at the age of 12. Fast-forward 40 years and he’s now performing alongside his son and six of their dogs. Known as the “Olate Dogs” act, the group auditioned with a truly one-of-a-kind act that completely blew away the judges. The dogs dance on two feet, jump rope and even form a conga line!
It’s probably not a huge surprise that this group didn’t just move on to the next level of AGT, they ended up winning the entire competition and getting their own show in Las Vegas.
What did you think of this performance? Please SHARE if you loved it as much as we did!
