Dion Leonard’s ultramarathon started out odd when a tiny stray dog started following him and just wouldn’t stop. First spotted at the marathon camp sight, this little dog seemed to mind her own business until Dion took off racing down the unlevel path across China with plenty of obstacles ahead. Dion thought to himself, “This dog isn’t going to last the whole day.” But striving to prove him wrong, this faithful little friend kept close to his heels the whole way.
