Would your kid allow a stranger into your home? You’re about to meet a few families who decided to put their kids to the test, and the results are eye-opening.

In a recent social experiment by YouTube “prankster” JoeySalads, unsuspecting kids are “set up” by their parents to prove a shocking point. Will children permit a perfect stranger to enter their homes? Joey contacted the parents for permission beforehand. He told them to set up a camera and make sure they were nowhere near the front door during the experiment.

The hidden cameras are rolling inside and outside the home as the parents listen to their kids’ responses from somewhere else in the house. Then, the parents reveal the truth — they were in on it the whole time.

Understandably, the mothers are shaken by the results. “If you look and it’s a stranger, even if I’m in the backyard, you have to come and get us,” one mother says to her daughter. We must teach our kids to stay safe, and “stranger danger” is an important conversation all families should have.
