If you’re like me, you’ve probably never seen anything like this bizarre, yet extremely mesmerizing display of natural horsemanship. The tradition, known as Doma India, is an Argentinian system of horse training.

The best way to understand what I’m talking about is simply to watch the video.

 

 

At no point during this video is the horse in any pain or scared, nor is he drugged. This is an old Indian trick whereby the horse is gently persuaded to lie down. He is then rolled onto his back whereupon he naturally goes sleepy like a dog.
