She was unwelcome to an orphanage called Serenity due to a huge tumor covering her entire face (skull, eye sockets, nasal cavity).
Seeing him at the San Antonio shelter, Patty Dawson, president of the Dallas Dog Rescue Reform, knew something had to be done to save him.
Dawson fell in love at first sight when Serenity kissed him on the face. It was then that he decided to fight everything to save Serenity’s life.
After Dawson adopted the dog from the shelter, a therapist examined her for critical condition. The vets couldn’t do anything about the tumor as long as Serenity could eat, breathe and see normally. Watch the video below.
