I must have heard “Hallelujah” over 1,000 times in my lifetime.
Soulful, deep and undeniably beautiful, it’s one of my absolute favorites and we’ve featured covers by everyone from Bon Jovi to a priest whose wedding day church performance for one lucky couple went super viral.
It’s also been featured on a ton of talent competition shows…and for good reason. As you can see from this“Hallelujah” performance by three insanely talented kids, it’s a great song to show off one’s true talent. In the following video, we see it performed by someone who I wouldn’t guess would choose this song for her audition.
When we first met Karise Eden from The Voice Australia, this talented young singer had the judges begging for her to join their team after just a few notes of the James Brown classic “This is a Man’s, Man’s, Man’s World.”
This time around, Karise already has the judges’ approval, but they get a front row view of just how incredible Eden’s voice is and what amazing vocal range she has. Once again, she gave me chills after just a few seconds.
I was completely blown away by this performance and after seeing the judges’ emotional responses, I think you’ll feel the same way.
Do you love this song as much as I do? Please SHARE this video on your Facebook page!
