This brave dog gives a whole new meaning to “man’s best friend.”
If you haven’t noticed, we’re kind of obsessed with dogs here at LittleThings. It doesn’t matter if it’s a big dog, small dog, rescue dog, or even one of our very own office dogs, we love them all the same.
However, I personally have a big soft spot for dogs who work in our military or dogs like Tuesday, who work with veterans to help them recover from various health problems. No one deserves more respect and appreciation than the brave men and women who protect our country, but there’s no doubt that the amazing dogs who serve with them are heroes, too.
Just like Marine Sgt. Ross Gundlach and his dog, U.S. Marine Corporal Seth Hill grew a deep love for the dog who saved his and countless other lives while they served together for three years in Afghanistan. Hill hasn’t seen bomb-sniffing Marine dog Bbazy since 2013, but when he learned that the Belgian Malinois hurt her hip and was ready to retire, he knew what he had to do.
Now Bbazy finally gets the chance to play and roll around in the grass with Hill’s family in Kentucky. When Hill says “I haven’t seen you in forever…you ready to go home?” in the following video, the look on Hill’s face says it all.
Did you love this reunion? Please SHARE their heartwarming story with all of your friends on Facebook.
