Everyone has heard of the wonders of Stevie Wonder’s music, right? This is a story about another “miracle” of Stevie, but a miracle like a blind singer. In fact, this Stevie is also blind.
Meet the twins, Stevie and Isaac, two kittens who inspire people and their Facebook followers. Their story begins with a kind woman deciding that their vision is not as important as the so-called “vision of the heart.”

A good psycho from Sydney, Australia, found two very small three week old kittens outside his yard and began to feed them. Knowing that they were too young to leave them alone, he lifted them up and found that they both had calm eyes.

Seeing the ugliness in his eyes, the kind woman took them straight to the vet. I told her that the operation would be expensive and at first I was disappointed. He didn’t have the money for what these little guys needed.

“Both boys were born with eyelid deformities and their eyelashes rolled inward, rubbing their pupils,” said Diana Dammery, a Strauss from the Inner City. As a result, Stevie was completely blind, and Isaac had only one “good” eye. Veterinarians removed Stevie and Isaac’s eyes for fear of infection. They then made a new eyelid for Isaac’s remaining eyes.

Over the years, cats named Buddha and Mogwai have taken a firm place in their new lives.
