For most people, Christmas is the holiday where they get to spend time with their loved ones, with perhaps the added bonus of receiving a gift. For kids, there’s nothing like tearing into a wrapped present to see if Mommy and Daddy were paying attention to your interests. However, the three daughters of Courtney Solstad got a bit of a different kind of surprise. It sure did come a little early this year.
I haven’t seen a Christmas gift this precious since the Perks family surprised their foster son with adoption. Each little girl rushes into the living room after Mom and Dad tell them they’ve gotten the little ones a gift to share. One sister bursts into tears when she realized what her parents had tucked away under the tree, another jumped up and down, while the last sister jokes in excitement, “I’m gonna wet my pants!”

Courtney Solstad and her husband got one big idea. They decided to sneak an early Christmas present under the tree for their three little girls.
The only thing was that the present was really more of a gift: an adopted little brother. The girls were completely stunned!
“The girls knew nothing about Nathan until this. We met them at the door and told them that we had been out Christmas shopping and got them a gift to share… and it was under the tree!” Courtney said.
