A video of a truck driver’s touching gesture has recently resurfaced on the Internet.

During the floods in Lithuania, he helped an old woman and took her to her parked car, which touched people in many countries.

The video was recently reposted on Facebook, reminding Internet users of human solidarity and how little it takes to brighten someone’s day.

Many years ago, this scene was filmed in the flood-hit city of Vilnius in western Lithuania. A resident was surprised to see water rising next to his parked car, and a truck driver who was delivering groceries to a nearby store did not hesitate to help him.

With the help of the lifting platform at the back of the truck, he enabled the elderly citizen to reach her vehicle safely, and the scene touched many people even these days.
