Whether or not you consider yourself a dance fan, you absolutely must see the following performance by a teen dance duo that won the fourth season of India’s Got Talent — and for good reason.
Maraju Sumanth, 13, and Sonali Majumdar, 7, may be young, but they’re stiff competition for even the most seasoned dancers. The salsa duo took home the winning title back in 2012 for their breathtaking performance, during which little Sonali was flipped and caught with the expert precision of longtime professionals. And while I can say with certainty that I’ve never seen two dancers defy gravity like this before, it’s especially impressive given their ages.
But age is just a number, as we’ve seen time and time again from the many talents of youths of the Got Talent stages. Most recently, we were floored by Arisxandra Libantino’s incredible Whitney Houston cover of “I Have Nothing” on Britain’s Got Talent. And on Asia’s Got Talent, David Foster-favorite Gerphil Geraldine Flores wowed with her rendition of “The Impossible Dream,” complete with a 20-person chorus as her backup vocals. And lest this incredible video leave you wanting to see more impressive contenders from across the globe, we’ve got you covered in our Talent section.
If you were blown away by Maraju and Sonali, SHARE their performance with your friends!
