I’ve always been envious of people who are flexible.
I’m still working on reliably touching my toes, so all I can do is marvel when I see an incredible athlete like Margarita Mamun show off spectacular gymnastic abilities. The way they move, some of these gymnasts and acrobats look like they have no bones at all!
In fact, that was my very first thought when I first saw this footage of a 14-year-old Jodie Hollis-Tobin onAustralia’s Got Talent. To be perfectly honest, this teenager is spookily stretchy, even more thanthe infamous contortionist Zlata.
Right from the get-go, it’s pretty clear that the judges feel the same way! There’s something undeniably stomach-churning about watching somebody move her joints like this, but it’s simultaneously so mesmerizing!
It almost seems like magic, because it just looks so impossible. Sure, there’s science behind her ability — she clearly trains to reach her ability level, and most contortionists are born with extra-flexible joints — but with Jodie’s incredible skills? She truly looks supernatural!
And, while the whole routine is totally captivating, just watch for the breathtaking moment at 1:17. I have no idea how she does this!
And if you were totally spellbound by Jodie’s unbelievable skills and stunning routine, pleaseSHARE on Facebook so your friends can join in on the shock and awe!
