These beautiful animals look as if they’ve been lifted from the pages of a mythical storybook, or transported from another world not unlike our own.

But, in fact, they all have albinism, a congenital condition defined by partial or complete absence of pigment in the skin, hair, and eyes, the lack of which makes one more susceptible to sunburn and skin disease.
