She credits working out and eating healthy along with help from her personal trainer (now husband) for her weight loss. She is now a personal trainer herself, according to “American Idol.”

Halimi performed “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World,” according to People.

The judges were impressed with her performance. Jennifer Lopez proclaiming “She sings like a heavy girl,” mid performance, according to “American Idol.”

And Molly wrote, “Jennifer Lopez, why don’t you stfu & stop saying that girl sings like a ‘heavy girl’ bc u already know that’s something she’s sensitive about,” according to TV Guide.

Whether her comments were appreciated or not, Lopez joined fellow judges Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban in rewarding Halimi with a ticket to Hollywood for her performance.
