Giving my dog a bath is a HUGE headache. First, there’s trying to tempt him out of his hiding place beneath the bed. Then there’s actually getting him in the bathroom, much less the tub (an ordeal that requires lifting a fifty-pound dog who’s kicking the entire way). And then there’s the post-bath shake-and-rub, in which every room in our house gets drenched.

Sigh. If only all dogs could take a lesson from this gentle giant. I can’t believe how he just stands there like that for so long. If it were up to him, I think he’d keep on showering for hours!
