Jeff Gutt pulled out all the stops, impressing all four judges during his recent performance on The X Factor.From the minute he started singing, this doting dad got everyone’s attention with his chilling and heartfelt rendition of of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” — even bringing the show’s harshest judges to tears.

Gutt’s emotional performance got him a standing ovation and unanimous “yes” votes from judges Simon Cowell, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, and L.A. Reid. After Cowell called it “one of the most brilliant auditions” he’d seen in the history of the show, Gutt was moved to tears. The other judges continued to praise his performance.

“You knocked that out of the park!” Reid praised the singer.

“God is even rocking out right now,” Lovato added.

As Gutt tries to take in the surreal moment, his son comes running on stage to hug his daddy. It’s truly a heartwarming moment that’ll bring you to tears. It’s so sweet!
