In 2003, Country Star Dierks Bentley released his debut album to much commercial success. The self-titled album was certified platinum, selling over one million copies in the United States. His follow up album, Modern Day Drifter, also went platinum fairly quickly, helping Dierks establish himself as one of country’s biggest stars. According to an interview conducted by New Country, a radio station in Texas, the Phoenix native taught himself to play guitar at the age of 13, making his talent and success even more impressive.
While Dierks is heavily invested in his music, he’s also a family man. He and his wife Cassidy – his high school sweetheart – have three young children together, and much of his work is influenced by his family. During a concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, Dierks brought his daughter Evelyn Day on stage to help him perform “Thinking Of You.” The crowd was instantly enamored with his little one.
It may be a bit difficult to hear Evelyn over the bustling crowd, but the sentiment is touching. It’s truly a beautiful moment between father and daughter and we urge you to share it with your family and friends. What did you think of this charming duet? Let us know your thoughts down below!
