“Have you ever wondered what happens when dog owners abandon their dogs?” “He’s looking for”. He can’t wait to reunite with his family.
This week, residents of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania spotted a collie-like dog wandering around a local park. He looked cold and lonely. He didn’t allow anyone to get close to him.
Concerned members of the public contacted Janine Guido, founder of Speranza Animal Rescue, a renowned animal rescue organization.
“He stayed in his apartment as if he was waiting for his family to return.” Unfortunately, despite Guido’s best efforts, they failed. Guido relied on the help of local residents to find and save the dog. Guido informs him of sightings to find the lost puppy.
However, this was not a mission.
“The second time I was able to hand feed him,” Guido said. “…Every time I try to put a leash on him, he jumps off.”
Guido was very close to winning Carla’s trust and allowing the frightened dog to run away into the forest.
In the meantime, Speranza’s Facebook page helped people find the dog and spread the word. “Have you ever thought about the fate of abandoned dogs?” Speranza Animal Rescue shared the news on Facebook, emphasizing how patiently they are waiting for the family to return.
“The park was pretty crowded,” Guido said. “He was still afraid of everyone around him.” Finally he managed to escape from the forest and others followed him.
After two days of searching, he had not been found on Wednesday, much to the disappointment of many.
However, Thursday morning brought some news: we received a call that Carla had been found sleeping under the back porch. Guido’s adventure has already begun.
“I almost caught him one time, but he got scared again,” Guido explained.
A few hours later, Guido appeared live on the Speranza Animal Rescues Facebook page, leaving everyone wondering what would happen next.
Guido commented as the camera was pointed from the driver’s side to capture him driving down the road. He expressed dismay at what happened in a matter of hours.
A few hours later, Guido called again and reported that Carla had been seen again. In the video, Guido excitedly says, “We found him! Your new life begins now. We thank you. We will protect you.”
