Erica Almond was fishing with her friends 65 miles off Tampa Bay, Florida when a great white shark approached their boat.

The animal first piqued the curiosity of the team members, and then did something unexpected. When he sank his sharp teeth into the boat’s engine, Erica was able to capture the entire scene on her mobile phone.
