Kelly Clarkson, most known for her successful singing career after winning season one on “American Idol,” melts at adorable sights just as much as the next person. Fans at one of the pop star’s recent concerts glimpsed Clarkson’s soft side firsthand when she stopped in the middle of singing “Breakaway” to hold a very cute youngster in the crowd. According to news site KSL, the concert took place Aug. 8 in West Valley City, Utah.

In the video, Clarkson’s gasp resounds over the audience the second she sees 16-month-old Boston sporting blue headphones near the stage. Josh Skinner, Boston’s father, uploaded footage of the scene to YouTube the day after the concert, and it has already amassed over 200,000 views. In the video’s description, Skinner cites his shock over the entire event and refers to Clarkson as a “sweetheart.”

Clarkson excitedly explains in the footage that she’s a new mom and couldn’t help herself when she saw how cute Boston was. After many laughs, the audience recovers from the amusing hiatus and Clarkson continues her show with a song called “Tightrope.”

According to Life & Style Magazine, the pop star announced her second pregnancy while performing at a Los Angeles concert on Aug. 19. With a 14-month-old named River Rose, and another on the way, it’s no wonder that Clarkson has babies on the brain.
