I’ve heard “Hallelujah” performed many times before — as I’m sure we all have. It’s just one of those popular songs that’s been covered on numerous occasions.

Whether it’s famous singers like Celine Dion or up-and-coming ones on competition shows, the song has certainly made its rounds.

Yet, when the 160-plus-piece Welsh choir Côr Glanaethwy took the stage on Britain’s Got Talent for a semi-final performance, they truly blew everyone away.

The choir’s incredible talent was obvious during the auditions when they performed “Benedictus,” but this performance below takes it one step further.

All four judges – Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, and David Walliams – gave them a standing ovation and offered some positive feedback.

“I think we may be looking at the winners of Britain’s Got Talent. You know I would like this — because every single one of you has given 100 percent. You’ve shown commitment and this is a big difference from other choirs I’ve heard in the past,” Cowell said.

Dixon added: “It was powerful. It was magical. One of my highlights so far.”

Just wait for the 1:41 mark when the choir gets louder and that last note the members hit at 2:16. Their passion is infectious!
