Kate Witham feared the worst when she arrived home to find her pug Lola was stolen during a house burglary. She thought she may never see her beloved pet again.
However, police officers at Harlow Police Department discovered the pug after arresting three people in connection with the robberies. The officers quickly contacted Witham and told her the dog had been found.
The dog was later reunited with her owner at Harlow Police Station, and the heartwarming moment was all caught on camera. When the dog hears her owner’s familiar voice, Lola sprints to her and starts showering her with lots of wet doggie kisses!
Witham said: “I had been so worried about Lola since she went missing, so when I got the call from the police, I was over the moon. As soon as I saw her, her little tail went into overdrive, and I instantly knew it was her. I am just so happy to have her back.”
Two men, aged 34 and 22, and a 23-year-old woman, all from Harlow, were arrested on conspiracy to burgle. According to the police department, ” They were all taken to Harlow Police Station for questioning before being released on police bail pending further inquiries. The woman was released without charge in relation to the theft of the pug as there was insufficient evidence to proceed.”
