Easy Exercises You Can Do In The Bathroom


We all know that we should be getting regular exercise as well as eating a healthy diet. But knowing and doing are very different things. I personally have found easy ways to incorporate healthier food into my diet through small changes, but incorporating more physical activity is a challenge. This great video shows you how you can get more movement into your day without having to go out of your way to get to a gym or setting aside specific time slots for an entire routine.

In just over four minutes, she introduces, explains and demonstrates three great moves that can be done in virtually any bathroom. The routine itself should only take you about a minute or so. To be sure, this is not an intensive fitness routine. There are no great promises of “melting the fat away” or “rock hard abs.” Rather, it is a simple and easy way to maintain your health.

According to a poll taken on Fitness.com, most people take 6-10 bathroom breaks per day. If you incorporated this into every trip to the loo, you would be getting in 60 squats, modified push-ups and dips. It may not reap the same benefits of doing them as part of a sustained regimen, but they will improve your strength, balance and overall health.
